Kensington Golf & Country Club (map it) is a gated golf community located in Naples on 370 acres of nature preserves, golf fairways and lakes. Kensington has to total of 565 residences, including houses, coach homes (condominium ownership), detached villas and estate homes.

The Kensington golf course is a championship 6,879-yard, par-71 course, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., is a dramatic, desert-style layout and includes a driving range, two putting greens and a chipping green with sand bunkers. The course is for members only, with membership restricted to 350. The golf initiation fee is currently $90,000 and is 80% equity. (Equity refers to the portion of the initiation fee returned to you should you terminate your membership.)
A two-story, 30,000-square-foot clubhouse features banquet and formal dining rooms, grill room, pro shop, locker rooms, card rooms, exercise facility and private meeting rooms. Other amenities include an Olympic-sized heated swimming pool with cabana area and sundeck.
Kensington’s top-rated tennis facility features seven Hydro-grid tennis courts and frequently hosts the Nuveen Masters Tour, attracting such players as Jimmy Connors, Bjorn Borg, John McEnroe and Johann Kriek.
The 3,500-square-foot fitness center is located on a lakefront site and features locker rooms, free weights, resistance weight machines, a cardio vascular center, an aerobics room and a massage room.
