FLORIDA PROPERTY TAX
Property tax reform is not a sure thing. Have you contacted your legislative representatives regarding property taxes? With only four days left in the regular session, legislators need to hear that Florida residents expect comprehensive property tax reform for commercial and residential real estate NOW, during the regular session. Please take a few minutes to convey your message to your State of Florida legislator.
It’s common for lawmakers to delay the stickiest issues until the last minute, however – but it’s also possible that reform could fail because lawmakers can’t reach an agreement. The campaign to eliminate homeowners’ property taxes altogether appears doomed, however.
